We need the full categorization of products and how each should be treated (in terms of on-line options, lead times, procedures, etc.
So, Types, Tags/Attributes, Collections/Categories, etc. etc.
Also galleries, probably drawn from your professionally taken pool of images, unlike product pages.
The product CATEGORY / COLLECTION images could be professional or good ones we/you took.
PRODUCT page images could be any of those, but there’s a split in terms of if it is a one-off or a stock item you make runs of, OR one-offs that can be customized.
So… PRODUCT TYPES: [This delineation repeated on the dev page]
Buy Now (Anything immediately available to be shipped. Store behavior = ONLY show up if in stock.) Example: One-off of a head dress.
“Stock Items” (IF you want to be able to take orders for certain un-made items… Issues: must address lead times… Store behavior = show purchase option even if not in stock, with proper handling of expectations.
Common Custom Items (Hand warmers, hats, men’s shirts… these you might take orders on but, again, managing customer expectations as to lead time, etc… Is this any different than when "stock items" are out of stock?
For Men’s shirts, I suggest you also have a page just for them that advise them (with photos to illustrate) what makes a good “candidate shirt” to art up, and all the kinds of things you can generally do. This would be super easy to set up as its own page with gallery examples.
